2010 Big Trip to Savannah

Our Scouts braved spooky cemetaries, learned about Georgia's unique marine life and geology, teamed up with Pirates and generally had a great time in Savannah, never letting the rain slow them one bit. Thanks also goes to all our parents who brought their Scouts & families.

2009 Appletree Family Campout

Despite the rain, coyotes & skunks, a great time was had by all. We had new families & new leadership as well as all the old familiar faces. A big hand goes to Daniel Holloway, our Food Coordinator and to Tom Costin, our 2009 Camping coordinator for organizing another successful campout at Appletree!

2008 Spring Cub-O-Ree: Bert Adams Scout Reservation

2008 Big Trip: DeSoto Caverns

We had a nice picnic lunch at Cheaha State Park followed by a fun afternoon at DeSoto Caverns Park. Sleeping overnight in the caverns was a unique experience: 60 degrees with 100% humidity (felt like 70) with occasional drips from the cave formations during the night. In the morning, the leaders cranked out flapjacks to the masses.
